臨床心理學探索人們心靈的空間，吳英璋教授在台大心理學系教書多年，除了教學以外更將臨床心理學推展到社會上不同的角落，從學校、醫院到教育、政策，不斷的在影響身邊的人。

在921大地震發生後，更集結了所有的資源投入災區照顧人們心理健康，這一過就是20年，而這些投入的心力也已經漸漸開枝散葉。

Clinical psychology maps the inner landscape of the human mind. Across his many years teaching in the Department of Psychology at National Taiwan University, Professor 吳英璋 has carried the field far beyond the lecture hall — into schools and hospitals, education and policy — steadily shaping the lives of the people around him. When the 921 earthquake struck, he committed every resource he could to safeguarding the mental health of those in the disaster zones. That work went on for twenty years, and the effort he poured in has gradually branched out and taken root.
