柯永河教授，每天都固定的時間起床寫作，走路到台大心理學教書，他開啟了臨床心理學在台灣發展的第一堂課，並且寫下十餘本專屬於台灣自己的臨床心理學專書，對他來說這一生都在為臨床心理學奉獻，將臨床心理學從無到有的建立，為所有的學生立下最扎實的知識傳承。

Every day, Professor 柯永河 rose at the same hour to write, then walked to National Taiwan University to teach. He taught Taiwan's first-ever course in clinical psychology and went on to author more than a dozen textbooks in the field, each grounded in Taiwan's own context. He devoted his life to the discipline — building it from the ground up and leaving generations of students a solid foundation of knowledge to carry forward.
