王育德 回鄉 紀錄片王育德 — Homecoming: A Documentary Film
一個離家近 70 年的人，再回到故居，會是什麼樣的心情？ 王育德先生於 1949 年離開臺灣後，終其一生沒有再回到這塊土地。2018 年王育德紀念館揭幕、故居掛牌，才讓世人對王育德先生有更多的認識。這支紀錄片無關藍綠、統獨，而是一個時代的縮影，王育德先生就像影子般不為人知，默默走過這段苦悶的歷史。
What must it feel like to return home after nearly 70 years away? After leaving Taiwan in 1949, 王育德 never set foot on the island again for the rest of his life. It was not until 2018 — with the opening of the 王育德紀念館 and the unveiling of a plaque at his former residence — that the wider world began to learn who he was. This documentary takes no side in party politics or the debate over unification and independence. It is the portrait of an era: like a shadow, 王育德 passed quietly and unseen through a troubled, stifling chapter of history.
